This is the most popular of our float trips. We bus you up to Bennett Springs access and you float back to the campground. This is the best section of the Niangua river for rapids and trout fishing. There are a lot of nice gravel bars to pull over and swim. Bus times for Saturdays are 9am 10am and 11am.

This shorter float ends at the campground and is popular when water levels are lower or if you are on time constraints. Bus times are 12:00pm noon on Saturdays. Put in fee is $7 per boat

This float is most popular for tubes or those who want a short fishing trip. It also ends back at Corkery Campground. This is a great float for the very young who are taking their first float trip. Bus trip times are scheduled usually after 1pm.

This float starts at the campground and ends at Oldhams Takeout. It is a popular 2nd day float. This float trip is only offered Monday - Wednesday.
River Safety & Rules
All boats must be off the water and returned to Maggard Corkery Campground by 7:30pm. Failure to return by 7:30pm each boat will be charged $25 a hour. The $25 an hour fee will not be prorated for partial hours.
Abandoned or non returned boats will be charged $35 per boat.
We provide lifejackets, paddles and mesh trash bags with each boat.
Missouri State Highway Patrol regularly patrols the Niangua River.
Trash must be contained in the provided red mesh trash sacks.
EACH person must have a life jacket accessible, do not tie rafts, canoes, or kayaks together with life jackets.
Children under 7 years of age are required by law to wear a life jacket.
Missouri State law prohibits glass and styrofoam coolers on Missouri public waterways.
Maggard Canoe and Corkery Campground does not assume responsibility for personal injury, medical payments or property loss or damage.
Liability waivers must be signed prior to your float trip and are available in the office or online.
Maggard canoe expects normal wear and tear on equipment. Damaged equipment exceeding normal wear and tear will incur a charge to be determined by management.
Paddlesports activities can be physically strenuous. We encourage floaters to bring sunscreen, appropriate clothing, food and plenty of drinking water.
